We know the world should slow down a bit.

We are constantly under pressure, overworked, and rushed. When the pressure and demands become excessive or otherwise unmanageable it leads to stress.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declares “stress” as the “Health Epidemic of the 21st Century”.

As it goes with natural disasters, pandemics and terror, we prefer to ignore the signs.

No business or 24-hour career pusher wants to hear it, but we all need to slow down. Massively and collectively.

Ages ago, when I was working in an ad agency, I often felt motivated and energized by the frantic pace, changing stimulations, and constant interactions. Positive stress.

Then I hit the point where each project, meeting, and client encounter felt rushed, hectic and superficial with no time to breathe. Negative stress.

Stress is an ambivalent thing
