You take breathing for granted. It just happens, you just do it. Inhaling oxygen is an unconscious process. Luckily, it’s unconscious, otherwise, we would have to deal with yet another thing on our busy schedule.

Are you aware of your breathing?

Most of us breathe poorly.

Because we tend to breathe short and shallow, especially when we are stressed or overworked.

At the same time breathing consciously is the easiest way to relieve stress and relax.

This means you have an amazing tool right at your fingertips.

With all of us experiencing higher levels of stress these days, we all have immediate access to this natural stress reliever. Conscious breathing.

I notice that I sometimes take deep breaths. Just because it feels good. Only when I started Yoga and meditation, many years ago, did I understand I was unconsciously doing the right thing. Now I do it consciously because I learned that you not only do this because it feels good but because it IS good for your brain, body, and overall wellbeing.

I want to make you aware of your breathing. And how it helps you to relieve stress and live better.

You Are Breathing Incorrectly

From your humble beginnings entering this world until you leave it, let’s talk average life expectancy and the law of averages, you will take around 670 million breaths.

Scientists have discovered that the way we breathe and our ability to breathe has dramatically changed through our process of human evolution.

These days, research found, that almost 90 percent of us are breathing incorrectly. And THIS causes a whole bunch of chronic diseases and modern lifestyle diseases.

Burnout, stress, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, asthma, and more can get under control by simply the way we breathe.
